NFT STORY

Consider a world without borders. Anything and everything is possible in this world. You don't come across a bunch of people that have the capacity to travel through time and space every day. However, there are 5,000 people known as Voyagers who are embarking on a trip into the unknown, each one programmed differently. Imagine having your own personal passport for this voyage, a reloadable document that allows you to do things like travel to new planets or even change history.

NFTs are slamming into blockchains like Adele slamming into high notes—consistently. Voyagers Unknown, an NFT project, is running some issues with their NFT release. The firm builds high-quality 3D avatars, which it intends to sell as NFTs with smart contracts. Voyagers Unknown tweeted on Jan. 24 about how the preparations for the impending NFT release are proceeding. "We've lately discovered some challenges with AWS (hosting environment) and our back-end building/uploading process," the team stated. It appears to be a problem that will require manual attention from the AWS Team to resolve."

Voyagers Unknown has delayed the launch of its new website and NFT mint "until further notice," according to the team.

"It's right around the corner," Voyagers Unknown tweeted five days later, with images of two beyond-human avatars. The website is still offline as of 11th february.

ABOUT VOYAGERS  FOUNDERS

A three-person crew called Lionel, Christian, and Espen is reported by Voyagers Unknown. The trio might be aliases for the genuine founders of Voyagers Unknown. As of the afternoon of February 3, Voyagers Unknown will sell NFTs for as much as 0.3 ETH, or $790 equivalent. If the project takes off, the price on the secondary market is expected to skyrocket. Ownership of high-quality 3D avatars will be represented by these NFTs.

OWNER BENEFITS

When Voyagers Unknown mints NFTs, prospective purchasers on a vetted Access List can use Coinbase to purchase a raffle ticket. Voyagers chose Coinbase to prevent bots and exploits out of the raffle process, according to the company. The ones who will be able to purchase the NFTs will be chosen at random. The user's identity, associated wallet, and funds will be verified, according to Voyagers Unknown. "The Access List is strongly filled with active individuals who are ready to mint our Voyagers," says Voyagers.

The raffle will be available for a total of 24 hours. Users have 48 hours once minting is enabled to acquire the NFT. Any leftover avatars will be sold through a whitelist mechanism with "no precise conditions for them, but they will be selected." Those who live in areas where Coinbase is not available will have to wait for a response from the Voyagers team. They want everyone to be able to use the NFTs, therefore they're searching for a way to make that happen.

ROAD MAP

They recognize that promises may be overbearing at times, and they don't want to set unreasonable expectations for their community. As a result, rather than laying out a plan or making extravagant promises about future progress, which might lead to unrealistic expectations, they've chosen to keep everyone up to speed on the project by posting regular updates on our development blog.

SOCIAL MEDIA REVIEW

These avatars, together with all of its moving elements, are not even close to being ready for the blockchain. The team is working on getting them ready for the metaverse "and other virtual worlds," according to the team. This would necessitate incorporating 3D art into metaverse protocols. They've also used their social media page and discord channel to include the community in the NFT's growth at all levels.

SUMMARY

'We've been debating how we might create a seamless, fair, and efficient mint on our release day,' wrote Voyagers. Fans of NFT are still waiting for an official release date.
